How we build and vet teams.
A network is a source of expertise. A project team is a specific commitment, screened and confirmed for each engagement.
Registration
Specialists register against AlphaGov’s standing requisitions by discipline. They provide a résumé, credentials, public-sector history and location, and state whether they consent to be named on proposals. Registration is not an engagement or a guarantee of work.
Requirement-based screening
For each opportunity, the project manager and technical lead screen registered specialists against the solicitation: required experience, credentials, location, on-site needs and availability.
Interview and verification
Shortlisted specialists are interviewed. Claimed credentials and licenses are verified with the issuing body where applicable, and references are checked for key personnel.
Conflicts and eligibility
Specialists disclose relationships with the agency, competing proposers and affected parties. We review conflicts, independence and any solicitation-specific eligibility requirements before naming anyone.
Consent and commitment
No one is named on a proposal without their consent. Key personnel confirm availability and provide letters of commitment where the solicitation requires them.
Agreements
Specialists work under written consulting or subcontract agreements that flow down confidentiality, conflict-of-interest, data-security and client-specific terms.
Supervision and quality
A dedicated project manager is accountable for scope, schedule, quality and communication. The technical lead reviews methods and work products, and documented quality reviews take place before deliverables are submitted.
Continuity
If a specialist becomes unavailable, we propose a qualified replacement with comparable experience, subject to the agency’s approval for key personnel, and hand over working files without a gap in coverage.
Who is accountable?
- AlphaGov is the contracting party and is responsible for all work and deliverables.
- The dedicated project manager owns scope, schedule, budget tracking, communication, risks, issues and change coordination.
- The technical lead owns methods, specialist coordination, quality review and technical acceptance evidence.
- Specialists are responsible for their assigned work under written agreements and the project’s quality process.
Data and confidentiality
Confidentiality, permitted tools, data access, storage, retention and any location or citizenship requirements are agreed for each engagement. Specialists receive access only to the information their role requires, through approved channels, and agency requirements flow down to every team member.
What network membership means
Network membership does not mean employment, proposal approval or a commitment to a particular project. AlphaGov confirms named personnel and responsibilities for each engagement, and reports personnel experience separately from AlphaGov corporate past performance.
